Hi, I like your NKP units. I'm currently doing some front range gp9  passenger service diesels in NKP I have about 25 Front range NKP on the layout and enjoy detailing them,airbrush and decaling. Been laid off alot lately and I find it relaxing. I'm learning all about repowering and better trucks. The tapp trucks are ok for a while then even with the mashima motor they start going noisey. So I been using my old athearn bloomberg trucks for new trucks. I see you are in conneaut, I grew up in another NKP town Toledo. I live now in cardington in central ohio. Well good talking to you. I have been exploring your ALCO RS-3 detail photos; and I am quite interested in the Dynamic Brake Grid on the top of the short hood.  I tried the DA 3404 but it just does not look right to me and I can not find a top prototype photo of the griid.You recommend Minatures by Eric Part # R-3, does anyone have a top photo of their model, and the prototype.

Moved to AZ from Rocky River, OH and have been through Conneaut a number of times. Good grief it is cold there and the lake effect episodes are incredible.
